The interview of the week with Mr.Razvan Ghemus – Manager of the Travel Agency Soft Tour/ Dispecerat Cazare Eforie Nord

1.infotravelromania.ro: Please, tell us a few words about Soft Tour.
R.G.: Dispatch from Eforie Nord was opened in May 2004 and its main activity is housing services in villas, pensions and hotels from Eforie Nord. We have very young personnel, but they are able to offer good quality services. We can offer information and photos about all the villas and pensions from Eforie Nord.

2.infotravelromania.ro: How many villas, pensions and hotels do you have in your data base?
R.G.: Our data base has in this moment over 80 villas and hotels and we hope that next year we will have 100.

3.infotravelromania.ro: How it was this season for your business?
R.G.: The number of tourists was growing constantly beginning in May and reached the maximum in august (15 July – 15 august the housing capacity was 100%). We consider that this season was very good.

4.infotravelromania.ro: Which were the most wanted housing units?
R.G.: The most wanted housing units were villas and 3 star pensions (Andreea’s villa, Razvan’s villa, Alexandra’s villa). The reason that the tourists prefer those units is that they have kitchen at their disposal, guarded parking and bar.

5.infotravelromania.ro: Which are the most frequent problems and which are their solutions?
R.G.: Our main problem is the black market of tourism. O lot of persons (not only locals) is staying on the roads with keys or with little pieces of paper to promote their housing and they are approaching constantly the tourists. The solution would be if the local authorities would be more involved in the elimination of the black market of tourism and we have some promises for the summer of 2005.

6.infotravelromania.ro: It is also good weather in September. Why the hotels are closing after 15 September?
R.G.: They are closing because the traffic is lower than in august and it is not rentable for a hotel or a villa to stay open for 0% of housing capacity.

7. infotravelromania.ro: Do you prepare something for the New Year of 2005?
R.G.: For this New Year we have in our offer some villas with air conditioned. The prices are between 70 and 100 €/person for 3 nights.
